Jay & Linda opened Magical Stitches in August 2009 at the Macon Mall, with an 850 square foot space and approximately one hundred bolts of fabric. About a year later, they moved to their current location on Hartley Bridge Road, with 3000 square feet of space and nearly three thousand bolts of fabric. The store also features a spacious 1000 sqare foot classroom where students can comfortably work on projects.
Magical Stitches is an exclusive dealer of Baby Lock home sewing machines and employs a wonderful staff that boasts an impressive 125 years of combined experience in the sewing and craft industry.
Linda has been crafting for over fifty years and is a real professional at sewing & embroidery, but quilting is her real love! Jay is the store’s machine technician and operates the long arm machine, adding finishing touches to customer quilts.
